What your browser and network still do
A few things happen that are not cookies but are sometimes confused with them. The browser caches pages, images and stylesheets so the site loads faster on a second visit, which is a browser function and holds no identifying information. The hosting and delivery network records technical request data in server logs, which the privacy policy describes. Neither of these places anything on the device that can be used to recognise a visitor later.
Cookies on sites you leave for
The moment a link is followed off this site, this policy stops applying. Gambling operators set cookies extensively, for session handling, analytics, affiliate attribution and advertising, and so do regulators, helplines and anywhere else linked from here.
Promotional links to operators are marked as such, and the arrangement behind them is described in the terms page. Following one will usually result in cookies being set by that operator under their own policy, including a cookie recording where the visit came from. That is their processing, not ours, and their cookie notice governs it.
Changes and questions
If the site ever introduces anything that sets a cookie, this page will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism added before it goes live, not after. Questions about this policy can go through the contact page.
